Event Wellbeing Matters is more than a mailing list or a library of free resources. It is a professional community built around shared learning, connection and a collective commitment to improving mental wellbeing, neuroinclusion, accessibility and psychological safety across the events industry.
We invest significant time, professional knowledge and lived experience into the resources, conversations, workshops and learning opportunities we share with our members. Much of this knowledge would ordinarily sit within paid training, consultancy or professional development, and we choose to make a proportion of it freely available because we believe in the value of an informed, connected event community.
In return, we simply ask our members to remain connected to the community and make use of their membership as much as they can.
There is no expectation to post regularly, comment on every conversation or attend every event – that’s just not realistic. We recognise that people engage differently. You may be someone who enjoys joining discussions, or you may prefer to quietly read, learn and make use of the resources available, both are equally welcome.
What matters is that EWM remains a community of people who genuinely want to be here.
To help us maintain an active and relevant membership, we will periodically review accounts and may remove memberships that have shown no login, activity or engagement with the Member Hub for an extended period, typically around six months or more.
If your membership is removed because you’ve been inactive, please know there are no hard feelings. We know that life and work change, and sometimes the timing simply isn’t right. You’re always welcome to reapply when you’d like to reconnect and have more time to make use of the community.
